Where I came from and where I am going…
I started my career in criminal justice and private investigation — work that taught me how to pay attention, think systematically, and solve problems with limited information. Those skills followed me when I made the shift into tech, and honestly they still show up every day.
I’ve been working in web development and digital operations professionally for several years now, most recently at The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis where I handle everything from front-end development and CMS management to SEO and accessibility. On the side, I build games and simulations.
I enjoy both sides of it. Web development keeps me grounded in real problems and real users. Game development lets me push further into systems design, interactivity, and creative problem solving. The two aren’t as different as they seem — both come down to building experiences that work the way people expect them to.
